Civilar Hawkwinter recruited the party to investigate the growing power of multiple thieves guilds in Waterdeep including the Xanathar Guild, the Plague Rats and the Shadow Thieves.
Hawkwinter was revealed to actually be the Shar mind flayer, Prar, upon the party’s journey into Undermountain to find Xale of the Starry Glen. Prar was killed by Faenor and Talbot.
